Cow Parade is one of the case studies featured in my book Slingshot. It is the world’s premier public art event series, and a wonderful example of the Slingshot principles in action. And now, the cows are taking over California.
Announced at the end of 2014, Cow Parade is teaming up with another very fitting, iconic brand: ‘got milk?’. The two are putting on a multi-year event and exhibition series that will travel all across the state to major urban areas. The series aims to become the biggest public art event in the history of California, promoting creativity, self-expression and continuous discovery. It will kick off this September, in Silicon Valley. Watch out, cows are on the move!
